Transitional Respite Housing

Prestige Community Resources, in partnership with Prestige Healthcare Resources, celebrated the grand opening of our first Transitional Respite Center, House of Job, in March. House of Job is a short-term recovery residential facility that allows individuals experiencing behavioral health issues the opportunity to rest in a safe environment while accessing mental health services.

After a hospital or rehab stay, respite care in transitional housing can be a helpful stepping-stone to living independently. For individuals not quite ready to return to the community, PCR’s Transitional Respite Housing, along with PHRI’s specialty-trained staff, provide:

  • Compassionate, holistic care
  • Personal and group therapy
  • Personalized assistance during recuperation
  • All inclusive rent and amenities
  • Fully furnished rooms
  • 45-day stay option

Prestige Community Resources has a limited number of extended stay beds. Extended stay is a traditional transitional with a maximum length of 18 months.

PCR is committed to our residents’ emotional, social, and physical well-being. It is top priority in all PCR facilities and services, designed to meet individual needs. We determine each resident’s care level based on the individual’s behavioral health needs which is determined by resident and program staff.

All service plans are regularly reviewed, evaluated by our team, which highlights individualized assistance and the freedom to make daily choices. A Mental Health Counselor, Nurse, Substance Abuse Counselor, and Community Support Workers are available on the premises to work with each of our residents. Plus, for added safety and peace of mind, staff will be located on-site 24 hours a day for our residents.

All residents are required to agree to the terms and conditions of the program. Extended stay residents are required to sign a lease and to pay rent. PCR operates several Single Room Occupancy (SRO) units in NE and SE DC which include the following amenities:
