Prestige Community Resources celebrated Mental Health Awareness Month in May with a series of community events, including the Mind Matters Table Talk Discussion with Mental Health Experts Webinar in partnership with Class Act on Wednesday, May 19.
On May 20, PCR hosted one of the first major in-person theater events of the year for the film premiere of our new documentary, Isolated Hope, Navigating the New Normal, a red carpet gala event at the Miracle Theater.
Click here to view photos of this wonderful VIP event attended by DC officials as well as our sponsors, supporters, team members and those generous folks who shared their stories and were featured in our film.
That same evening, we broadcast a livestream of the premiere on our YouTube channel that was attended by many more viewers and supporters.
On Friday, May 21, PCR hosted a Community Health Fair: It Takes a Village on the BridgePoint Hospital grounds with free health screenings, live music and food giveaways.
Thanks to all who attended and supported these events, as well as our continuing efforts to provide mental health resources to the most challenged in our community as we all navigate the new normal together.
