LaShell Rivers is an author, artist and social media influencer. Born and raised in DC in the 80’s, LaShell came from a dysfunctional family containing drug dealers and killers. Her abuse led to mental health issues, prison and a devastating car accident. LaShell shares the experiences that changed her life as an active mental health consumer, and how COVID-19 and the pandemic led her to discover the power of virtual mental health services.
